Why Art is Important

Why art is important? My reasons I will share in this post. It is all I want to do. So I think it is a gift I want to share.

Art is made to share

Some of us love to share with our word, putting you craft with words as a writer or being an actor is a great way to express yourself. I want to show my visions on paper, canvas, sculpture and other mediums to you and others.

When my art is seen it feel like I am letting the public see an intimate part of my thought with you. The feelings of my subjects or my mood shows in the way I express my craft. Every stoke of the brush or pencil tracing my thoughts as I work to bring my vision to life.

Why art is therapy

There is no question that art saved me through therapy, because as a child of abuse. It gave me a place to escape when things were bad and a place to hide. Art has keep me in troubling times is a gift that I have been blessed with.

Later I found that the best way to distract my thought from my pass was to learn as much as I could to become the best me. Art has kept me focused on seeing things differently, so get more involved with the different tool and surfaces is intoxicating to say the least.

Later after multiple health issues art was there for me again. So art helped me heal my body, it also kept my mind from pain and gave me the patience to heal my mind.

No one is unhappy while doing art because we are to busy try to exercise our knowledge of the craft. While teaching art I never had a student that did want to learn more. Art is to be taught, so we can introduce more people to the value of the creative mind. Our thoughts can be expressed on paper, canvas and sculpture. There is something about seeing your creation when finished.
