brate creativity is how I express myself. It is in the way I carry myself as artist, women and an individual. Everything I do painting, drawing, sculpture, cooking, gardening and even the way I dress is a celebration.
How I carry my creative self
To celebrate creativity is showing my skills and of course my style as an artist.
Working as an artist, being a wife, mom, and a family member so, it is important to remember who I am. My life is and always be a creative one. Fitting in when I have to and expressing myself without being disrespectful.
Being a wife may have not been in the cards for me as a young woman that changed when I met someone how added to my life without taking anything away. Oh, the joy of motherhood has opened my eyes to think outside the box,
My kids have brought a whole new level to everything, because of juggling my many hats. Now my creativity took on a new perspective. A lot of my inspiration came from the challenge to keep doing my art.
I come from a large creative family and extended family filled with artist, inspiring chefs, and teachers. You can imagine there is always something going on. All generations have ways to express how the feel about everything. Family is important, I value their input, yet I still remain true to myself.
Celebrate creating knowledge
Having my kids brought me to sharing my art with them. They became subjects in some off my personal works of art. I started exploring crafts again experiencing their excitement on the new thing they could explore.
New chapter started when I volunteered to teach art to 6- to 10-year-olds. The excitement these young people have is so rewarding, so I look forward to show up. Working with them I found that art is not only to be view and sold, but to share your skills with anyone wanting to learn.
Subjects are created to celebrate
My love of animals is why I choose them over other subjects. In my drawings and painting I work effortlessly to bring the subjects in the way I see them.
