Creative minds keep exploring all things. I explore my thoughts and the areas around me constantly. This is not something I can control and I don’t know if I would. I can’t wait until the day unfolds, because I am excited about what ever direction my imagination will take.
Creative minds taking gardens to the next level
Today as I look around my gardens I see things that I could do differently. I feel like my garden is an ongoing painting that changes with the seasons. Impressed by the light and the colors that explode throughout the year because of the shadows. With shadows that increase or decreases as the sun rises and set causing the colors to change with the light.
There are so many changes that take place in my gardens because of the elements and I have to work with them to get the effect I want. Plants that I may want in one place because of the color may not thrive because they don’t get enough light.
Creative minds like mine approach it the same way I would my canvas. First I research my subject, pick a color pallet and the center of interest. The fun part is that you can place a center of interest in different areas because gardens can be 360 degrees. Anywhere you want your visitors to find.
I have a pond in one area, a fountain in another, ornamental trees and my entrances is a trellis that blooms twice a year. Every season the garden painting changes it explodes with colors, textures, and structures to explore. You are constantly using your imagination as things need cut back, die off or need to be replaced.
