Quality Of The Art /Five Keys To Marketing

The quality is your focus whether you’re buying or selling. Market quality art work is a learning experience I learn new things every day. When you head down this path know that is time consuming yet worth every minute.

Marketing your own work is something to consider. You can also outsource because of how much time it takes. You do have to do your part unless you can spend the funds to let someone catalog your inventory.

A few years ago when I looked into marketing on the internet I found a lot of help in marketing others products. I don’t market any thing except my art now. I know that my work is unique and of the finest quality because I created the art work. The companies I worked with were great I just wanted to focus on sell my own product. It has taken time to photograph and index every piece. I don’t really know if I have recorded all the work I have seems like I find something new every day.

Finding out that unless you can afford to outsource, you better get started. I wasted precious time trying to find out how. Well now I know that you have to help yourself. There is a lot of quality information out there and which to chose is work in itself.

By helping others marketer their products I could learn what I needed to do to market my own. Now I am on my own I respect those that helped me along the way because I was so hungry for knowledge I knew it was going to cost me some change.

Many of my post show you how you can market on the internet and they’re free because I want to share the information. Lets go over some key points that will help you get started.

5 Keys To Market Any Product

  1. Find a need or desirer for your product (art)
  2. Document information on your product (art).
  3. Post, tweet, chat talk about and show off your products to everyone everywhere.
  4. Direct people to where they can purchase your products.
  5. Deliver

Show your patience’s because there are many people out there that want what you have. It takes time to get the word out. Focus your attention on the groups of people that love what you do and have.

It takes time patience to document every thing that you want on your website or page. Remember even if you outsource the information has to come from you. That means photos, sizes or any pertinent information.

It doesn’t matter where you advertise if you don’t have a place to send your customer. You need a page or a website that your viewers can access at any time, a place to show off your stuff. The better your stuff the longer they will stay.

People buy things they like from people they have a connection to, so chat, tweet, post tag and just remember to be honest. Keep the line of communication open so there is no mistakes on what you’re offering. Deliver your product.

People have a desire to have beautiful things that are of the highest quality. They want things that are unique. Remember that it is not always about how many you sell but the quality and uniqueness of your product.

Making Your Business Relevant

Social Media will make your business relevant when you use it to leverage what you already know. Putting yourself out there is the essential  to becoming a person that people want to follow. The opportunity to reach thousands of people is just the beginning.

The key here is that social media is great to get your product in front of many people at the same time. You can link social media to your website. Your website is where you can shine. The best part is that once you have them linked to your site your ranking on google will become more relevant as your friends follow you back to your website.

The more relevant people find you the more they share you and your website with their friends and so on. It is the leverage we us to show off new articles like this one and can launch a new product to success. The key is to know how much to share and when to share it.

I am sure if you are on any social media you already know the power it has. If you can see the power that TV has had over the last 70 years you can only imagine how far we can go with computers, phones. and tablets.

People crave the news, the most relevant products and information. When they show a great interest in you and your website they will book mark it and keep track of  everything you share.

Most of us do not like being bombarded with sales and offers. We want to think that we are in control of what we want to see and hear. Adding small snippets of information about what your doing and your products is just enough to get people to your website. They have the choice to follow the links back to our website.

Your website is going to show off your products and that is where you want them. the more people that come to your website the more relevant your are to the search engines. The leverage these social media site have given a small business owner is priceless.

Servers Get Your Product Out

Using domain name servers to get your products out there can give you the control you desire. Ownership of your own little piece of the internet. My product is my art so I am constantly juggling creating a piece of art and adding it to my website.

A number of years ago I was traveling to fine art shows. My customers base was good but limited. My goal was to get my work seen. So I got a computer.

I started fumbling around the inter-net until I could find out what I needed to get on line. I am self taught on the computer and I work my way around just fine.

I network doing shows and  through social media, I’m doing what I can to get my product in front of as may people as I can. The product end up in front of the customer. Not everyone wants your product and that’s okay not everything is for everybody, but they wont know that if they never see it.

A website is a place to show my products and direct people to a place where they could get to know me, learn something and see my products. My product is unique so chances are if you get it out there people are going to want it or know someone who would.

Getting a website is just one of many ways to use the internet. I used go daddy for my domain name server (DNS)  there are other site you can buy a domain. Your domain name is your turf on the internet, the companies that register them are the Internet’s equivalent of a phone book. They maintain a directory of domain names and translate them to Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. This is necessary because, although domain names are easy for people to remember, computers or machines, access websites based on IP addresses.

You can build your website where you buy your DNS or you can host it somewhere else. I use Host Gator and WordPress for my blog. I connected my blog to my social media, These platforms help me have control and take ownership of my DNS. You pick a theme, a theme is a platform to showcase your blog which in turn will show case your product. So the goal is still the same get your product or service in front of as many people as you can. You will find it is so worth your time to use the internet.

The Focus Of Your Business

A list of priorities that focus on building and maintaining our businesses is key. The list contains ways we build our brand and customers. We want a few things in place so people are happy and comfortable with us and our business.

You are your brand if your business focus is on you. How you handle yourself with social media and when your out in public is key to your success. Be an open book, focus your energy on getting to know people and let the, know that you know your business inside and out.

When you are the expert it reflects on your confidence. As the owner of a business every decision made is a reflection of your business. Be as transparent as you can be, most people will focus on what type of person you are by how you handle yourself.

Taylor your skills on social media so that you can reach out and attract people. The rule of business is easy get you product in front of people. Supply a service or product they need. I find that getting to know people is easy if you are listening to them. I mean really focus on what they are telling you.

You can tell in just a few conversations if this is someone who is going to help your business. The focus is not on you, it is on your customer. Don’t think for one moment that just because they aren’t buy your product they can’t help you in some other way.

Each person you meet can lead you to someone that can help you in one way or another. Be honest and treat them with respect is always a good idea. People will know if you are genuine or not. Keep your focus on your part the rest will fall into place.

Marketing to Emotions

The greatest ads in the world are based on emotions. Fear, love and everything in between, from cards to beer. The advertising business is all about tapping into your emotional memory.

These ads enter your world without you realize it. They tap the feelings that you may or may not know. There are subtle ads that are worn on labels, such as clothing, shoes, handbags and food. These might be the smartest of all because they make you feel as if you’re a part of the popular crowd.

We know that we want the best that life has offers to offer. Those that can afford the best enjoy showing off. There is nothing wrong with that. Just as there is nothing wrong with not caring about anything except the fit.

I personally don’t care to pay someone to wear their name. I am more about the fit. Although as a marketer I do have to a line my thinking to reflect the brand I am marketing.

What that means is I am going to hit you with whatever it takes to get you to buy into the product at hand. It may be to helping a company get its brand started. I am going to recruit you buy the promise of being part of a special group of people who what you to succeed because we can all make this company together. Growing up from the ground floor means being on the top of the earning machine.

To get in make as much as you can fast, I can promise you a chance to win a new car or a trip to the Caribbean as an incentive to recruit other to share this business model. Great pay just for sharing and showing others how to do the same.

Sounds like the greatest opportunity, you buy a certain amount of the product to share and the company gives you a web site, access marketing training and the advertising material. With a meeting once a month and all you have to do is share.

This is a great business model. It does work if you are prepared to put your time and effort in, because there are no free rides. You are starting a business by help others get there brand out to the public. There are business opening up every day that rely on this type of business. Once the business takes off be prepared to move onto the next company.

This business model plays on the urgency of not being left behind when it comes to making large amounts of money and it is there to be made. They have the support you need to succeed.

You’re looking helping them but all so helping yourself by getting what you need to achieve your business goals. A win, win is what you hear as you rise up the latter to success.

The thing is that most people fall prey to believing that they can do it. These people help build up these companies but never make the money they thought they would make. Most of the time it is because they don’t have the mind set you need to make money and move on.

You see they join thinking this is their ticket to working with people they like and selling a product and company with will be loyal to them for years to come. There is only 20 percent of the people recruited will become that marketing professional that lives a six figure life.

Marketing a Bold Move

Marketing is an easy way to spend a lot of your money quick and easy. Partnering with companies to advertise their product is a great way to make money. Why not use your experience and knowledge to market yourself.

Face it if you don’t want to work hard, starting a business may not be your best bet. I don’t consider any money I spent as a loss. I learned so much from everyone I worked with. As a marketer you are constantly learning. I think my thirst for the knowledge on how marketing on the net works was more important than the money I spend.

I have been running more than one business of my own since the nineties. I have been marketing myself for as long as I can remember. I am an artist. I am interested on selling my work or product to people via the internet. I tried on line galleries and decided that I wanted to have a site that would feature my work 100% of the time.

Do to some unfortunate events I found myself getting away from what I loved to do. Art is what I love spending my time on. I thought I could do more and found out that there were too many things to juggle. I spent less time on what I wanted to do. My intent was to gain knowledge to promote myself on line as an artist.

I found so many different great experts that it was hard for me to keep up. So when I found a good fit I stuck with it. I soaked up as much information as I could for as long as I could. I know that the value was in the actions not only the details. So many companies have great products too and I still use many of them today.

A life threatening event changed everything for me. I now concentrating on my art and my family more than anything I want to share my work with you. Spending more time with the ones I love is the best part of my life. The marketing is the easy part. Now making a move to concentrate on this business is a bold move I won’t have to travel unless I want to and I will be taking my family and friends with me when I go.

I am filled with gratitude to Mike, Jonathan, Jimmy and Brian just to name a few of my mentors for teaching me sometimes it takes a bold move to find your real path.

Photography And Advertising

The best thing about photography is to share what you have with others. Digital photography changed the way we capture a time. With the editing tools on our computers we can change our photos into works of art or advertising.

Photography is a great way to get your message out to the world. Companies use photography for marketing, product photos are just is to show-off the unique quality the company has to offer. Just by adding a few words you are creating a call to action.

I explore the way our senses influence our emotions. Advertisers use photography to sell anything they can. The right advertising can put your company on top in the niche it wants. Companies do research to find out what works the best for them. They are trying to get a message to you. They want your business and are will to do what it takes.

Our sense is the focus of advertising that companies strive to touch. Things that get our attention is as simple as what we smell, a noise we hear, a touch or seeing things that brings pleasure or pain. Our nose can’t always smell a photo, but a picture of someone smelling something will peak our interest. Our minds will remind us what is good or bad.

We can’t always experience things when we want, but our memories have thousands of things we like or dislike. So when we can’t smell it ourselves we may have that smell locked in our memory ready when needed. That is a powerful tool when you want to sell people on how great something smells. The photos take your mind to what the product may smells like.

People love photos because the visual aids awake our thoughts. Our brains are always searching for stimulation. Photos get the message across and when you add a great copy writer, you have a formula for a successful campaign.

When creating an ad, the composition is very important. It is the image and copy that will get your message out. Your ad is commanding a response subconsciously using a desired emotional response.

Pleasure and pain are the two emotions used most in advertising. You are either searching for pleasure or trying to get away from pain. Ads designed to get a message out to as many people as they can. We use photos as a part of the composition because it is tool that works fast to get our attention.

The next time you’re out and about notice the ads that attract your attention. Are they using photography? Study the ad to see what it does for you. Be aware of the typed message and where it is placed in the ads.

Photography and fonts create a feast for your eyes, so you will want to have the materials in front of you. Technology fills the need. We can have every tool we need at our finger tips. Today it is easier than ever to merge your photos in to advertising.

Some pictures are so powerful that they need no words to move you in a direction. For example if I take a photo of an image that is also the logo. You can manipulate the background to create an emotional response with just a quick glance is you build a reputation for quality and safety.

One word is powerful when it represents the product. This word is the brand so the font is very important. The brand is what your mind identifies with, one powerful word is Nike. This company uses the products and makes it possible to show both emotions based on the font and word alone. The word added to this advertising composition part of the ad and the message.

Advertisers make a choice to use one word as their logo building a photo campaign of photographs that show people using their product, by making sure the logo is in a place in the composition that draws your eye.

Companies sell the idea that using these products will change your life. Photography is a powerful tool and advertising would not be the same without it. You have something to say or just want to advertise your product think about how you can use a photo in your ads.

Think about how photography is a silent, odorless nudge to get you to take some type of action. The action is simple you may want what I have and if you like it, pass it on.

Here is a photo used to get a message.

Watching a Business Develop Around You Is a Gift

Are you wasting time getting your business off the ground? The time we spending on building a business is never wasted. Entrepreneurs are consistent in their business efforts.

So why does it take some of us longer to see the results? Is there something we’ve missed? No. It is not a race, you will see others there before you and that’s okay. Be happy for them, ask them how they did it. They are happy to share and you maybe surprised at what they tell you.

Everyone can start with the same opportunity, the way you approach it is different. Some of us have a wider learn curve then others. Training is your part of the equation. You have to take what you have learned and act on it. Learning is not a waste of time unless, you think it is. If you feel that it is,your letting your emotions over ride your thinking process. You have to stop giving your emotions power over your decisions. If you are having a negative emotional reaction, it is because your not getting what you want without doing the work that it takes to get there. If you are busy worrying about someone else you will never see what you have in front of you.

People that feel like they are wasting their time are busy complaining. They are not doing what they need to do to get the results they want. They are still hoping that someone will come in and do it for them. Building a business is work. When you feel discouraged, you are not feeling the rewards for your efforts. What are you thinking, you can’t complain and have a positive out look at the same time. Whining is a negative act fuel by emotions. If your personal business development is lacking momentum you are the only one who can change it.

Adding a new training task to your list that will benefit you and make it easier. You can start building up your tool box with positive acts. Volunteer or go out and do an act of random kindness if you want to feel good about something. Only you can move forward, I can’t push you or hold your hand to success. You are the secret to the success of your business or your career. Fitting in to the role as a success person developes as you act on the training and the informed decisions you make. Exercising positive thinking because if you are only putting your toe in to test the water, you may never get in. What I learn today I can use to help someone do what I do. It is part of my business model.

Be too busy to dwell on negativity. Everyone is different so their challenges are different, Waiting for your light bulb moment will keep you in limbo. Everyone that sticks to the training long enough is going to see results. When your moment happens you will be ready because you invested on it. People, you have to carry out the training or it will not work. Entrepreneurs do not get paid for time. They get paid for results. Entrepreneurs really are too busy to worry about your negativity, they focus on whats important.

Watching a business develop around you is a gift. You will see it if you stay positive through the experience, you are the secret to your success so don’t give up. When my business changed, it was when I realised that I am the business. I have to take this to the next level and treat this like a business not a hobby. I am responsible for the decision I made. Most entrepreneurs can tell you when things stared turning around for them. Now when an opportunity comes they are ready. The reason they can do this is because they are positive thinkers that are successful because the took advantage of the opportunity in front of them. They look at it with an open mind and then zoom in on the facts taking emotion out of the decision-making.

Training your mind to take action is the way an entrepreneur’s mind works. You can teach your mind to leave emotion out of your decision-making. You start by training it to take action on facts, so it doesn’t react to emotion. You want it, doesn’t mean you need it. Take some time, up to a day if you need it to make decisions. Give your brain time to wrap around it. Listen to your gut as the facts unfold and you will make the right decision. A business mind will zoom in and out putting their focus on what is the best decision for the business and the people the business supports. Leave the emotions at the door and look at all the ways you can make a positive impact versus a negative one. Celebrate small milestones as much as the big ones, because they keep your momentum growing. Be positive take one day at a time and keep the future where you can see it.

Do You Need A Work at Home Makeover?

Work at home is not as easy as you would think. When you get up do you reach for a cup of coffee before your eyes are even open? How you start your day will decide how productive you are. I wake up every day with my Grace alarm. That’s my Dalmatian she barks at the same time every day. She wants to go out. Before I get up to take care of her I take a minute to get centered. I have a routine that will get me ready for my work day.

I know everyone has a morning routine and if it works for you don’t mess with it. Here are just a few things that are a must for me. Stretching is one way to get the blood moving to wake up your brain and I do it through out my day. Showering I want to wash of the night and the day before so you can feel fresh to start each day. Getting dressed, I put myself in a different mind-set then if I crawled out of bed and went straight to the computer. It set the stag for my work day. Whether you shower the night before or the next morning it’s your business you need to get dressed. A well put together person shows that they are ready for the work day. I’m not talking about a three-piece suit. Just get out of your bath robe into comfortable clothing.

Drink your coffee or tea while you are going over your list and I eat breakfast to fuel my body. I want my brain to keep it functioning at its best. Doing some form of exercise is good for your mind and your body, if you work out that’s great. I take my dogs for walk every day. I feel better and so will you when you prepare yourself for your day.

Schedule yourself in the time you have is something you need to do if you work from home. Setting a time and a limit on everything I do so I don’t get distracted especially on the computer. Face book and twitter will lead me astray and I don’t want spend my day in social media. I have to schedule a time when I won’t be interrupted to make and return phone calls. Your schedule changes daily when you work from home especially if you have children. You need to plan so that you get as much done in the time you set a side for your business. I even put a time in to eat lunch and take breaks. Our brain needs fuel, water and rest that is why it is important. This is why I schedule them into my day.

I don’t suggest you change a thing if what you’re doing is working, you don’t want to mess it up. I found that if I don’t put something off that is on my list it build my momentum and it is easier to for me to get things done. Don’t ignore how important it is to stay focus. Distraction can defeat the best laid out plan.

As a mother I will not compromise the time I spend with the family. I take one morning and prep foods that I will need to make healthy meals for the week. I do laundry while I work and add one hour of house work to my workout schedule. It is a challenge to keep from feeling over whelmed some days, but without a plan I would just flounder through out my day not getting anything done. The key to working from home is to set a routine that works for you. Make a plan and be ready to follow through with your commitments. You will find that as you set it up that some things work better than others. You can change it, you’re the boss.

Taking care of you is the very first thing to schedule. We are willing to makeover our appearance to feel better about our self. How you work from home does matter. Do you need a work at home make over to feel good about your home business. You are more productive when you feel good, which builds momentum and before you know it there is a shift in your attitude. Working from home is a choice and getting into a productive mind-set starts with you.You have important obligations and building a business takes time and energy. Look at your routine and adjust it to support you and your business.

Building Business Relationship on-Line?

Lasting relationships on-line star with social media. Look at the way I use it. Is there a way to approach your friends and prospective customers by using these social sites to market?

I don’t like to play the games on these sites. I want to build relationships with people by having conversations. I don’t want to spend my time playing games on-line.

So I asked some experts, what do you get out of playing these games? My sons, they play more games on-line more than anyone I know. They opened my eyes to how they use these games. While playing video games they communicate with people on the inter-net daily. They build relationships with new people as they enter the games. So if you are someone who is comfortable playing games and you have many people in your gaming circle it can open a door for you to find out more about them. I talked to people of all ages they all got something different out of gaming on the inter-net but they all said it is to connect to others that have the same interest.

I know that these sites have opened the door to marketing and unfortunately inter-net marketing spam. When my wall is full of every offer under the sun, it drives me crazy. All I want is the good stuff that my friends are sharing. I know that by build a circle of friends you open yourself up to what they want to share. Do you listen to what you are adding to the conversation. You want to build relationships with people. Listening to what they tell you is showing them that they matter to you. Whether you do it playing the games or commenting on a post, you need to become involved with the people if you want them to listen to you. We are people first and marketers second. As you log on to these sites there is a time and place to bring your offer to the table. If you have to think about whether or not to post an offer, don’t do it. When a door opens start a conversation as your relationship grows introduce your business and any offers that you want to share. When you want me to hear about your offer, send a personal message you don’t have to post it. I am willing to listen to your offer.

People in any relationship want to feel good about it. Getting friends or followers doesn’t give you anything except a number unless you are building relationships. Looking at what you want from these social media sites.Think before you just start posting quotes and offers. You are on a site to build a relationship. Do you really throw a quote out there every time you talk to your friends or hit them with a sales offer? I don’t. I want to listen to what they need or want and offer them a solution so they know I care.

I know that it is hard when you are starting out to get people to listen to you, but think about what you want in a business relationship and then build it. When you bring value to a relationship people stand up and notice you for the person you are. People do business with people they like and trust. We want to have relationships that grow and change, so think before you post. I look forward to all the relationships I build. I think that social media is there to connect people who have the same interest. I connect with marketers, artist, mothers sisters, brothers the list goes on and on. I wonder why you accepted my friendship if they don’t want to get to know me. I am more than a number you add to your prospect list.
