My young art students are open to learning the basics and in to trying different forms of art. Teaching them is like planting a garden of knowledge and watching them grow into beautiful artist.
Young art students inspire each other
An open mind can create visions unique to every student in my class room. The students and I are always looking forward to seeing their work that the end of the class. Each student accomplishes a piece of work at is amazing.
My students are between six and ten years old and are here to learn how to draw, so we work on the basics first. As they see how all the basics of drawing fit together to form an image. I can see them getting inspired to create their vision. So, by having different age students sit next to each other they begin to be inspired by each other and me.
I love working with young minds inspirer me to take time and rethink some of my own art projects. I all ways start with an example by drawing through the basics, so one by one. In the beginning the drawings are building the basics because my students lack confidence.
My older art students help our young art students get started because they are confident and want to be helpful. I can see the results in the drawings from each of my student and how confident they are in expressing their work.
Students gain confidence as they create
All my student’s are do their very best and we work together so the results are great. As they see their efforts working their momentum grows and they are open for more experimental and challenging drawings.
Seeing the creativity that I see coming out in the students assignment is wonderful and all different. Each art student is proud of what they accomplishing and want to show them off. They are drawings filled with emotion and personality within the boundaries of the assignment.
I am excited because I can see art students are confident, willing and ready to create some art.
Here are Just a few examples of their work.

Griffin worked color pencil strokes creating pattern and texture, so creative.

Natalie is one of my youngest artists yet asked for little help.

Madeline has a geometric vision so neat with clean lines.

Christian wanted more time, but I think it looks great.

Ellen took her bug and put it in a garden.

So, Amanda wanted to show off the wings

and Dylan wanted all his shadows to be green.
Every one of these drawings are done by some students that had no idea that this could be possible. I show off their work because I’m so proud of them.
