Conversation Adds Opportunity

Conversation is an opportunity for recruiting people and is just another step in the marketing process. Every time you talk about your products or your business there will be people listening to your conversation.

Everyone within your 5 foot circle can hear everything you say so make sure you speak clearly and show some excitement about what your doing. Your conversation will attract people so be ready. When questions come up and they will it is essential to listen to people your in a conversation with. Only respond if you can do it with confidence. You are targeting an audience with everyone in that 5 foot circle of your voice.

You’re at a party listen to the people around you, there is always someone talking about work so go start a conversation with them. Waiting for them to bring up what you do. because it is your invitation to sell yourself, your product or opportunity.

The conversation may go something like this…

Me – So glad I don’t have to get up early tomorrow, I can stay up and have a great time.

Mary – I don’t either, I’m not working right know. I was in real-estate and worked as an office assistant.

Me – I’m sorry is there anything I can do?

Mary – Not unless you have a job in your pocket. I’ve been looking for work and have yet to find a job or one that I feel is worth my time. I am good at what I do and I have years of experience.

Me – I’m sorry Mary, you’re out of work I it’s tough out there I’m sure things will turn around for you soon. I don’t worry about where I’m going to work any more, I’m happy about my future.

Mary – What do you do?

Me – I market on the inter-net and it’s great! I choose my own hours and everyday I learn something that I can use to improve my business. I love it!

Mary – Sounds too easy, what’s the catch?

Me – No catch, I just decide that I would rather work for myself and found away to do it. It really didn’t cost me that much to get started.

Mary – I heard that companies on the inter-net are there only to get your money. Money I don’t have, I think it’s a scam.

Me – Not everyone is trying to get your money, but it does cost money to run a business and my cost is low. Mary with your abilities you will fly through the training and would start making money right away.

Mary – What does it cost? Do I have to put up thousands? I just don’t think doing that is for me.

Me – That depends on how you approach it. Are you looking for a job or a business? This is a business opportunity.

Mary – That depends on how much it cost.

Me – You can start-up with a company like ( your company name) which is less than $500 and they supply you with a web site, training and all the tools you will need to succeed. I handle only the products that I use myself and the on line company I’m with.

Mary – I don’t have an extra $50 dollars lying around let alone $500.

Me – I know that you work hard for your money and so do I. An inter-net business is the way I make my money. I can assure you that you will get out of it what you put into it. There is training with every job the difference I am doing this for me and my business.

Mary – I don’t know if it for me?

Me – Mary, I don’t want you to do anything that you’re not comfortable with. Let me give you my card and you can check things out for yourself. The web site with information on it can help you make up your mind is on the card.

Mary – Okay I will check it out.

Me – Mary I know how hard things can be. How about if I give you a call in a few days to see how you’re doing?

Mary – Okay I’d like that, call in the afternoon I will be job hunting during the day, here is my number.

Me – So how about this party is it off the hook or what?

Mary – Let’s party.

You will be over heard by other people at the party and they will want your business card, so bring plenty. Make sure you get there information, because a few days later. You are just simply call them to see how they are doing, if they checked out the opportunity and if you can answer any question.

Not every conversation will lead to a person being interested but when the do you’ll be ready to help them sign up. I stay in touch with them, because a call once in a while does wonders and you are letting them know that they are important.

You are a messenger of opportunity and one that you believe in. Opportunity is only a benefit if you hear about it. So start a conversation where ever you go and get the message out there.

Mary is approachable because she is an example of what we all go through at some time in our lives. We are never in control if we depend on someone else to give us an income. By taking control of your financially income you take control of your life. In fact you are offering someone the same opportunity that was offered to you. That is the reason you are here. Focus on the opportunity in your conversation so you can help them be successful.

They may decide it is not for them and that’s okay. There are thousands of people who are just waiting to hear about this opportunity. Part of a great conversation is being able to listen and respond knowledgeable so the other side of the conversation know what your talking about. Listen to them when they say they are not interested and more on.

Creativity and selling are just a part of life. You can’t have one without the other. Everything screams artistic in the world of marketing.

Commercial artists create the tools that put emotion and selling into the same category. They create the clip art, ads, fonts, and photography. Put together with the right copy writer the ad they create will produce an emotional response. It is this response that the seller is going to open your wallet.

Artists from all over the world use their minds to come up with something that will leave an impression. There are many creative ways artists play a part in the advertising business. Art is only worth something if it connects with you emotionally.

Advertising is everywhere from billboards to clothing. People become so emotional attached to designers that they are willing to wear their label. Fans love their sport teams they are willing to brand themselves with it. They say it in their loyalty to products created by that artist. If duplication is the highest form of flattery, musicians take a bow. We love a style, music or status so we want to adapt it for our own and by doing so we show our appreciation for the one who created it.

Advertising puts the product in front of you to trigger an emotional response from you. Love it or hate it, they are counting on you enough to help spread the word. They do this with by using your subconscious mind. The effects good or bad you will share it with someone, that’s our nature.

Artist and marketing are like peanut butter and jelly. Artists produce the work with images, music and words and spread it where we can see it. Television, inter-net, billboards, newspapers and magazines are some of the ways they get the word out.

How many of us can watch a greeting card commercial without it effecting us. The images, the music and the copy, the words are no mistake. Now you will remember the name or brand around this advertising. You may tell a friend or you see a poster with a photo taken from the commercial it brings back those emotion prompting you to buy a card. They leave these pictures inside of store fronts, in the bus we ride and the magazines we read. Every reminder is there to prompt you to buy a card.

The fine artist is looking for you to get that feeling when you view their latest creation. So as every artist will tell you the more work you get out there the better off you are. You need to advertise yourself as much as your work.

Networking is getting yourself in front of people who can and will help you get your work out. They do this by word of mouth and that is one of the best forms of advertising in the world. They become your testimonial on your character, communication skills and work.

Every artist needs to create a brand or a style that they are comfortable with. Getting known through your work is another thing that artists and marketing have in common. Great advertising is high in demand especially now that we do it in so many ways.

The computer has opened billions of store fronts for you to advertise in. Skills as an artist give you a new avenue to explore the creative juices follow when you see the possibilities. You can have your own web-site, use social media as a way to create events to show your work and to keep many people aware of what you are creating. Who knows you may want to explore creative software for your computer to create computer images and a fast growing art form.

The artist becomes part of the market when they use their skills to aid in the advertising of product whether it is theirs or someone else. Designing a website around your work can work as your personal gallery. People can find your website view your work, if you advertise. So you see that artists and marketing real do support each other and always will.

Develop Your Business Character

To develop a business character you look at yourself and see what parts of your personality you would like to change. If you are waiting for others to change you are in big trouble. The people in your life don’t want you to control them. Don’t dwell on them, the person that is reading this is the one that needs changes. As we work on ourselves other will changing around us or is it that they aren’t changing we are. Your perception is what is changing.

Investing in a relationship is emotional, you are constantly working on it and yourself. You will want to bring your best every time you are with them. That is why it is so important to build strong relationships with friends and family. You can bring your best to every person you meet and that doesn’t mean you have to emotionally invest in them.

As I work on my posture, the way I look at people is changing. People that are rude to me or don’t take time to listen to what I have to offer really doesn’t matter any more. I don’t emotionally invest in what they are going to say or do until I see what type of person they are. I can tell in just a few seconds if the person is positive or negative. I have decided that I am a positive person and want positive people around me. Does that mean they are going to what my offer? They probably won’t and that’s okay. This business model doesn’t hinge on whether they join me. I talk to so many people, that a single person will not make or break my business. There are millions of people who what to hear what I am offering and if it is an opportunity they can see themselves in.

Confident and disciplined are a few things that successful business people have. They let rejection roll of their back. The people you partner with are the people who have a vision of a positive outcome. It is your outlook that determines what you want out of the business relationship. I want to spend time with people who are willing to succeed.

The reason I ask these questions is because these are the characteristics that I look for in every relationship I have. These are the some of the things I worked on to become a good partner. Don’t be self deceptive, If you by-pass yourself when you learn these things and go right to teaching them to others, you are not working on your character and it will show in everything you do. Be ready to follow and learn the characteristic of people you admire. Lead as a teacher in your action and your words.

We want to think that we jumped into this business with a clear idea about what we have to do. We are not willing to become the person that we want to work with. As I develop in this business I want to learn as much as I can so I can bring an open positive person to each relationship I have in business.

 

How to Use Leverage in Your Marketing Business?

Creating a larger income will take leverage in my marketing business. Why wouldn’t you leverage a network of like minded-people to help each other to get a head? The beauty of network marketing is surrounding yourself with the people you like on your way to the top. They become good friends and mentors that share their tools,tips and tricks so you succeed in building a strong marketing business.

Open communication is the way people can see that you are truly interested in helping them get ahead, even if they just want to make a little extra money. They feel connected to you because your vision for the future is the same. You have no problem keeping the marketing team motivated you are all on the same page. Your skills are contagious the team is infected with the potential to grow strong and all of you will be success. Everyone is going to gain a wealth of knowledge and income. There’s your leverage.

People are the key to keeping each other motivated. Communicating and working towards the same goal is leverage you can’t buy. Your marketing team is working together towards the same goal and is unstoppable. People keep money flowing and the more people you recruit the more financial growth for your team. Everyone has their own dream of the abundant life they want and each person has their own style of doing things. Get to know their strengths and weakness and remember they are your business. Each one of us is at the top of our part of the business all working towards marketing success.

Time is the one leverage that is critical to building a marketing business. So remember that you’re not getting any more off it, your time is priceless so seize the moment. The time you need to do one sale is yours. If you make $10 on every sale you do, and do that 10 times a day that is $100 in your pocket. Now say that you have trained 5 people to do what you do and each one of them makes 10 sales a day and you give each person half of what they sold. You are giving them $5 a sale and they do 1 sales in one day that gives each of them $50 a day and you in turn receive $50 dollars from each person. Do the math you end up with $250 dollars for that day. You are still doing the same amount of work.

Okay here comes the leverage each one of those people your team trains 5 people and in turn they train 5 people who on their team. So on that level instead of you making $10 or $5 per sale you are only making $2 per sale. However you have 25 people on that level who each make 10 sales. Exciting isn’t it now the 5 you started with have 5 teams and the goal in to sell 10- $10 products.

Okay you’re out selling a diet product even better you only worked selling the 10 products, your team sold an extra 50 product and then their teams sold 250 products! Because all of you were working toward the same goal you sold 310 products. Even though you did not make as much per sale by having a team, you made far more than you would have made by yourself. You are just one person. That is the big problem with creating wealth without any help.

You are only given 24 hours in a day. Over half of those 24 hours you spend on activities like sleeping, eating, and doing chores and working towards creating your wealth. However when you have a team that are all working together you have created a leverage point on those hours. So you can just spend 10 hours per week working on creating wealth. You also have a team of 5 who each spend 10 hours a week creating wealth for themselves. Which means you and your team are spending 60 hours per week on creating wealth, and in the example before each of those 5 people have a team of 5. What if they spend 10 hours per week working as well? They work a total of 250 hours per week, plus your team and you work 310 hours per week. That is 310 hours of work put in per week. If you could work 24 hours per day 7 days per week, you by yourself could only work 168 hours in a week.

Your teams joined together are putting in almost double that. If you are only working 30 hours each week you and your team are spending over 300 hours per week building a bigger business. Everyone is working towards the singular goal of creating a successful business.

In fact, this is the way it works at any “regular” business in America. At your local grocery store there are dozens of people working various different shifts all working together to keep the store operating. One person could not run the store. One person could not work all the hours it takes to get everything done. They are leveraging the hours of all those people to create a profitable enterprise. This is an advantage of building a Network Marketing company, you may earn less on other levels, but you have more people working, and more people working means more sales being made, creating more income.

Now you know what the leverage is and how to use it to your advantage. This is the secret of the world of business that is no secret to those who will do what it takes to succeed in marketing. We want a strong marketing team make sure you communicate your goals clearly from the beginning. Your team can grow as large as you want with many teams in place with the same goal in front of them. You’re loyal to the team and the company that supports your goal to become a success.

So how do I use leverage in my marketing business? What are the steps I need to know? These are questions that every business has whether your marketing business is on-line or in your neighborhood. People are people and they want something for the effort they put in to a business. When the steps are easy to follow they become second nature. Leverage happens when you learn a few simple steps and train others to do the same. You are training a marketing team with the same goals.

Everyone will benefit from a marketing team. You are looking for people who want the same goal as you and are willing to invest themselves in a team of people that are working towards the same goal. They can see how simple things can be coped and are excited to get started.

Build Maximum Leverage

  • Set a common goal, people will to work towards a positive outcome.
  • The more people you involved in the process the better your chances are to succeed.
  • People who are financial evolved have more to gain as the business succeeds.
  • Have a formula and training program that is easy to follow.

Leverage is the ability to get people together to work for a common goal. When several people work together towards a common goal, it becomes easier than with one person. Just think how your business would benefit from having two of you, twice the effort would mean you can get thing accomplished quicker. What would happen if you had a five of you working instead of two? If the tasks a hand took ten hours five of you would only work for two hours!

Where do you go to meet people? Social media sites on the inter-net are a great place to connect with people. The possibilities are endless here. Taking time to meeting people and make friends is not something new, but the there are more ways to connect with people all over the world because of the inter-net. Facebook is one of the best. Set up an account and start meeting people, make friends and stay connected with them on your page. All your friends get an update at the same time. Just by posting, commenting, liking something or tagging a photo you can change the way people see you. As your friends keep up on their friends you are sharing information and that will make their friends want to know more about you. This is a gathering spot for you and your friends to keep up with each other when you want, introduce your friends to each other and add to your network of friends.

Social media sites are people giving and getting information several times a day. They view photos and get news instantly any time of the day or night. As you logo into these sites it becomes easy to meet people and make friends. There are people all over the world with the same interest as you looking for connections. Living social is not new, it has reinvented it’s self. The internet is the party, like the coffee shop around the corner and it is one way we communicate today.

Setting up an account is easy just remember that you are there to connect with like-minded people. There are a few things you need to do when setting up your account. Use your real name and email so that anyone can contact you. This is helpful especially if they want what you have to offer.

  • Why are you here?
  • What are the names of your favorite book? Why do you like that movie?
  • Link your networking sites like twitter and you tube to your Facebook account and don’t forget your own website.
  • Social media is essential for doing business today. Showing who you really are is the only way to connect with people.

Remember this is an active site. Just like stopping by your local coffee shop to say hello and catch up on all the news. Checking to see what your friends are saying and leave a comment so they can respond is what social media is all about. This is just one of the ways these sites work. Keep this in mind when you set up your account it is important to let people know who you are. People are willing to connect when you show them who you are and they will suggest other social groups and pages that will increase the amount of people you can connect to. Do not under-estimate the power you have on this or any other social media site. Be aware of the restrictions that are in place when doing business.

This is a social site and Facebook will not tolerate spamming.

  • They have a limit to the amount of contacts you can add in a day or a week.
  • Use this site to build relationships and build relationships on sites like twitter stronger.
  • Ask people from other social sites to join you as a friend on Facebook.
  • Use your email list and contact list to add friends.
  • Search names of people you know and invite them as friends.

Remember why you are here and that is to make new friends. Keep up with the ones you already have. Building relationships with like-minded people can lead to a business relationship. Not everyone you meet will want to hear about a business offer from you or anyone else.

As an active site remembers to post things that you are doing now, comment on what others are doing and tag those photos. These are the things that will keep you in the party and don’t worry everyone is there because they have an invitation. Lines of communication on a deeper level will open up as you get to know your friends and their friends and so on. This is place where your friend’s check their news feeds at least three times a day and they want to keep up with you. They do that by commenting on your post and tagging your photos. They want you to add your two cents worth and you are more than happy to respond.

Keep in mind that Facebook has restrictions in place to protect you and me from spam. We don’t want to look through spam to get to what we came there for. Do your advertising somewhere else. If someone wants what you have they will send you a message. Then you can respond with an offer. Send out messages inviting friends to events can open the door to business relationships.

If you want more friends join groups that hold your interest at heart or better yet start your own. If it has value to your friends, it will have value to their friends as well. The more people know about you and what your interests are the more they will leave comments. Attracting new friends is easy once you open up. If you don’t have a cause that you think people will get behind you in a group, set up a fan page. A fan page is where the people who like you and show interest in what you have to offer can let you know it. Posting thing that your friends like will prompt them to hit the like button and you will be a celebrity in no time. If you don’t know how to get started just go to one of the page that you like and model your page after them. Something drew you to their page and caused you to hit the like button. Everyone can see your fan page not just your friends. You can post valuable information and watch how many people show an interest in what you have to offer. You can put a call out for people to add you as their friend.

We use the Facebook site to keep up on what is important to us. As a friend bring yourself, show how you help others and add something to their day. Rules to follow are be kind, give love and support, be remarkable, be honest and have fun it’s a room full of your friends and they want to be there.

Taking Control of Your Life Style Is a Choice

Everyone benefits from taking control of  their life style. I you don’t like it change it. It depends on how you see yourself in the situation you are in and if you can embrace change.

You know the saying if you have lemons… People who have high expectation are there because they want to change their life for the better. They look for education, opportunity and wealth in every situation and are willing to do what it takes to get what they want.

The bottom line is they are open to new ways of doing things. This includes starting a business to support their life style or they don’t make the money they need and they look for opportunities to supplement what they do make. Either way the opportunity they want is straight forward and safe.

The people you want to qualify get that, this is a business and they are willing to do what it takes to succeed. They don’t want to be sold anymore like we were in the 50s and 60s because they don’t make business decisions with their emotions. People who have money to invest are not interested in being sold. They will listen to the offer and decide if it is a good fit. The people you want to qualify are the ones that will listen and can follow directions. In today’s demographics there are people who want to decide on the facts.

They want to see the results and decide for themselves if what you have will fit in their life. Trying to sell them with a lot of hype is an insult. These people are going to follow the training and have a very high success rate. The path is clear to them and they will succeed.

As you answer their questions and they will decide if they want what you have to offer if not they might know someone who is looking for just this opportunity.
  • What about e-mail contacts? All emails are based on the facts and by positioning yourself as their support by give them everything that they need to succeed. They will follow your lead when you present them with valuable tools that will support their success.
  • How will they know I am sincere? Give facts; be honest build a relationship by giving. Your company has a mission statement, stick by it and you need to have a personal mission statement of your own as well.

What Makes Your Business and Products Unique?

Today people are looking for something special in the products they want and the opportunities they seek. What makes yours special and different from others they find on the internet? Do you show the value of the products and how they changed your life? Here are somethings to think about when planning a business. No one needs a new restaurant yet there are new ones springing up all the time. Restaurants, at one end of the spectrum, will need well-trained employees with many customer and great advertisers on the other end, all working together to make a profit.

Network Marketing is no different – it needs people to make it work. Each person in your business is unique. Internet Marketing has many levels of opportunities, if you are an extrovert you can bring your company to the masses through trade show and large events that allow you to set up booths.
