Conversation Adds Opportunity

Conversation is an opportunity for recruiting people and is just another step in the marketing process. Every time you talk about your products or your business there will be people listening to your conversation.

Everyone within your 5 foot circle can hear everything you say so make sure you speak clearly and show some excitement about what your doing. Your conversation will attract people so be ready. When questions come up and they will it is essential to listen to people your in a conversation with. Only respond if you can do it with confidence. You are targeting an audience with everyone in that 5 foot circle of your voice.

You’re at a party listen to the people around you, there is always someone talking about work so go start a conversation with them. Waiting for them to bring up what you do. because it is your invitation to sell yourself, your product or opportunity.

The conversation may go something like this…

Me – So glad I don’t have to get up early tomorrow, I can stay up and have a great time.

Mary – I don’t either, I’m not working right know. I was in real-estate and worked as an office assistant.

Me – I’m sorry is there anything I can do?

Mary – Not unless you have a job in your pocket. I’ve been looking for work and have yet to find a job or one that I feel is worth my time. I am good at what I do and I have years of experience.

Me – I’m sorry Mary, you’re out of work I it’s tough out there I’m sure things will turn around for you soon. I don’t worry about where I’m going to work any more, I’m happy about my future.

Mary – What do you do?

Me – I market on the inter-net and it’s great! I choose my own hours and everyday I learn something that I can use to improve my business. I love it!

Mary – Sounds too easy, what’s the catch?

Me – No catch, I just decide that I would rather work for myself and found away to do it. It really didn’t cost me that much to get started.

Mary – I heard that companies on the inter-net are there only to get your money. Money I don’t have, I think it’s a scam.

Me – Not everyone is trying to get your money, but it does cost money to run a business and my cost is low. Mary with your abilities you will fly through the training and would start making money right away.

Mary – What does it cost? Do I have to put up thousands? I just don’t think doing that is for me.

Me – That depends on how you approach it. Are you looking for a job or a business? This is a business opportunity.

Mary – That depends on how much it cost.

Me – You can start-up with a company like ( your company name) which is less than $500 and they supply you with a web site, training and all the tools you will need to succeed. I handle only the products that I use myself and the on line company I’m with.

Mary – I don’t have an extra $50 dollars lying around let alone $500.

Me – I know that you work hard for your money and so do I. An inter-net business is the way I make my money. I can assure you that you will get out of it what you put into it. There is training with every job the difference I am doing this for me and my business.

Mary – I don’t know if it for me?

Me – Mary, I don’t want you to do anything that you’re not comfortable with. Let me give you my card and you can check things out for yourself. The web site with information on it can help you make up your mind is on the card.

Mary – Okay I will check it out.

Me – Mary I know how hard things can be. How about if I give you a call in a few days to see how you’re doing?

Mary – Okay I’d like that, call in the afternoon I will be job hunting during the day, here is my number.

Me – So how about this party is it off the hook or what?

Mary – Let’s party.

You will be over heard by other people at the party and they will want your business card, so bring plenty. Make sure you get there information, because a few days later. You are just simply call them to see how they are doing, if they checked out the opportunity and if you can answer any question.

Not every conversation will lead to a person being interested but when the do you’ll be ready to help them sign up. I stay in touch with them, because a call once in a while does wonders and you are letting them know that they are important.

You are a messenger of opportunity and one that you believe in. Opportunity is only a benefit if you hear about it. So start a conversation where ever you go and get the message out there.

Mary is approachable because she is an example of what we all go through at some time in our lives. We are never in control if we depend on someone else to give us an income. By taking control of your financially income you take control of your life. In fact you are offering someone the same opportunity that was offered to you. That is the reason you are here. Focus on the opportunity in your conversation so you can help them be successful.

They may decide it is not for them and that’s okay. There are thousands of people who are just waiting to hear about this opportunity. Part of a great conversation is being able to listen and respond knowledgeable so the other side of the conversation know what your talking about. Listen to them when they say they are not interested and more on.

Marketing to Emotions

The greatest ads in the world are based on emotions. Fear, love and everything in between, from cards to beer. The advertising business is all about tapping into your emotional memory.

These ads enter your world without you realize it. They tap the feelings that you may or may not know. There are subtle ads that are worn on labels, such as clothing, shoes, handbags and food. These might be the smartest of all because they make you feel as if you’re a part of the popular crowd.

We know that we want the best that life has offers to offer. Those that can afford the best enjoy showing off. There is nothing wrong with that. Just as there is nothing wrong with not caring about anything except the fit.

I personally don’t care to pay someone to wear their name. I am more about the fit. Although as a marketer I do have to a line my thinking to reflect the brand I am marketing.

What that means is I am going to hit you with whatever it takes to get you to buy into the product at hand. It may be to helping a company get its brand started. I am going to recruit you buy the promise of being part of a special group of people who what you to succeed because we can all make this company together. Growing up from the ground floor means being on the top of the earning machine.

To get in make as much as you can fast, I can promise you a chance to win a new car or a trip to the Caribbean as an incentive to recruit other to share this business model. Great pay just for sharing and showing others how to do the same.

Sounds like the greatest opportunity, you buy a certain amount of the product to share and the company gives you a web site, access marketing training and the advertising material. With a meeting once a month and all you have to do is share.

This is a great business model. It does work if you are prepared to put your time and effort in, because there are no free rides. You are starting a business by help others get there brand out to the public. There are business opening up every day that rely on this type of business. Once the business takes off be prepared to move onto the next company.

This business model plays on the urgency of not being left behind when it comes to making large amounts of money and it is there to be made. They have the support you need to succeed.

You’re looking helping them but all so helping yourself by getting what you need to achieve your business goals. A win, win is what you hear as you rise up the latter to success.

The thing is that most people fall prey to believing that they can do it. These people help build up these companies but never make the money they thought they would make. Most of the time it is because they don’t have the mind set you need to make money and move on.

You see they join thinking this is their ticket to working with people they like and selling a product and company with will be loyal to them for years to come. There is only 20 percent of the people recruited will become that marketing professional that lives a six figure life.

Building Business Relationship on-Line?

Lasting relationships on-line star with social media. Look at the way I use it. Is there a way to approach your friends and prospective customers by using these social sites to market?

I don’t like to play the games on these sites. I want to build relationships with people by having conversations. I don’t want to spend my time playing games on-line.

So I asked some experts, what do you get out of playing these games? My sons, they play more games on-line more than anyone I know. They opened my eyes to how they use these games. While playing video games they communicate with people on the inter-net daily. They build relationships with new people as they enter the games. So if you are someone who is comfortable playing games and you have many people in your gaming circle it can open a door for you to find out more about them. I talked to people of all ages they all got something different out of gaming on the inter-net but they all said it is to connect to others that have the same interest.

I know that these sites have opened the door to marketing and unfortunately inter-net marketing spam. When my wall is full of every offer under the sun, it drives me crazy. All I want is the good stuff that my friends are sharing. I know that by build a circle of friends you open yourself up to what they want to share. Do you listen to what you are adding to the conversation. You want to build relationships with people. Listening to what they tell you is showing them that they matter to you. Whether you do it playing the games or commenting on a post, you need to become involved with the people if you want them to listen to you. We are people first and marketers second. As you log on to these sites there is a time and place to bring your offer to the table. If you have to think about whether or not to post an offer, don’t do it. When a door opens start a conversation as your relationship grows introduce your business and any offers that you want to share. When you want me to hear about your offer, send a personal message you don’t have to post it. I am willing to listen to your offer.

People in any relationship want to feel good about it. Getting friends or followers doesn’t give you anything except a number unless you are building relationships. Looking at what you want from these social media sites.Think before you just start posting quotes and offers. You are on a site to build a relationship. Do you really throw a quote out there every time you talk to your friends or hit them with a sales offer? I don’t. I want to listen to what they need or want and offer them a solution so they know I care.

I know that it is hard when you are starting out to get people to listen to you, but think about what you want in a business relationship and then build it. When you bring value to a relationship people stand up and notice you for the person you are. People do business with people they like and trust. We want to have relationships that grow and change, so think before you post. I look forward to all the relationships I build. I think that social media is there to connect people who have the same interest. I connect with marketers, artist, mothers sisters, brothers the list goes on and on. I wonder why you accepted my friendship if they don’t want to get to know me. I am more than a number you add to your prospect list.

Develop Your Business Character

To develop a business character you look at yourself and see what parts of your personality you would like to change. If you are waiting for others to change you are in big trouble. The people in your life don’t want you to control them. Don’t dwell on them, the person that is reading this is the one that needs changes. As we work on ourselves other will changing around us or is it that they aren’t changing we are. Your perception is what is changing.

Investing in a relationship is emotional, you are constantly working on it and yourself. You will want to bring your best every time you are with them. That is why it is so important to build strong relationships with friends and family. You can bring your best to every person you meet and that doesn’t mean you have to emotionally invest in them.

As I work on my posture, the way I look at people is changing. People that are rude to me or don’t take time to listen to what I have to offer really doesn’t matter any more. I don’t emotionally invest in what they are going to say or do until I see what type of person they are. I can tell in just a few seconds if the person is positive or negative. I have decided that I am a positive person and want positive people around me. Does that mean they are going to what my offer? They probably won’t and that’s okay. This business model doesn’t hinge on whether they join me. I talk to so many people, that a single person will not make or break my business. There are millions of people who what to hear what I am offering and if it is an opportunity they can see themselves in.

Confident and disciplined are a few things that successful business people have. They let rejection roll of their back. The people you partner with are the people who have a vision of a positive outcome. It is your outlook that determines what you want out of the business relationship. I want to spend time with people who are willing to succeed.

The reason I ask these questions is because these are the characteristics that I look for in every relationship I have. These are the some of the things I worked on to become a good partner. Don’t be self deceptive, If you by-pass yourself when you learn these things and go right to teaching them to others, you are not working on your character and it will show in everything you do. Be ready to follow and learn the characteristic of people you admire. Lead as a teacher in your action and your words.

We want to think that we jumped into this business with a clear idea about what we have to do. We are not willing to become the person that we want to work with. As I develop in this business I want to learn as much as I can so I can bring an open positive person to each relationship I have in business.

Working for someone who has control over your life is letting them set your schedule. They decide how much time you spend with your family, when you can take your vacation, and for how long you can go. The wage you make will decide how much you can afford to spend and your retirement is based on the money you are trying to save. How are you going to send your kids to college? These are just some of the problems that we have when we are at the mercy of others.

Today so many of us live in fear, there is no job security and the unemployment lines are getting longer. These problems are because some else is in control. This is the time you take control of your time and how you make your income. Right now is a great time to check what direction you want your life to take. It is the time you take control of your time and how you make your income. You can make a choice to stay where you are and do nothing or make a change to increase your earnings. Take a part-time job to make an extra income, which will take more of your time away from what you want to do.

So what can you do with a little bit of money, time and effort? You can change your world. Truth is that you are the only one that can change your circumstance. When you have had enough of people controlling how you live, you will start looking for ways to improve your situation. I hear people say if I only had more time. Time is not the problem it is the one thing that you can count on. It will run out and you can’t replace it. So how do plan on spending your time? Do you keep doing what you’re doing and pray that things change for the better. Why not take control today and see what’s out there.

Should I Look at Your Compensation Plan?

Marketing is not what it used to be. Today you have to reach for more than a home party to make money at network marketing. So here are some things you should question before you start building your business with any company.

Is the compensation plan worth your time? That means an income stream that will support a steady flow of income. The training, product and an earning potential is powerful. You want to draw interest to your prospects. Those of us that work with a powerful earning team know how important it is to get what a person needs in their hands as soon as possible so that they can start making other money right away. A powerful plan that they can duplicate is important when adding a company to their business plan. How do you make money with this? By earning residual income, customers and recruiting.

Today entrepreneur are tomorrow’s teachers. Building a company that supports a team of business investors that count on the opportunities in place to recruit is much different from the news juice or supplement they offer. You can work yourself to death for a couple of dollars if the compensation plan is not worth the paper it’s on. See it doesn’t matter how great the product is unless you are the one who developed it. You need to distribute it. The hype about how much money we are going to make, means nothing unless you put it into the hands of the people driven to succeed. The entrepreneur will know whether they can work with your opportunity and will do what it takes to succeed. You are developing business relationship with people just like you who want to profit from the time and money they invest. These people are there to teach so that we all will profit.

So the things I look for in a compensation plan are can you build a business around it, Is it teachable to others, will it produce residual income.

Study the complain plan, asks questions and take part in a recruiting webinar and meeting to see if the person presenting the offer is giving you what you need to succeed. The compensation plain is more than the opportunity it is the person behind it. Do they have what it takes to train you to do what they do and show you how to earn that residual income? We are entrepreneurs and we hold ourselves at a higher standard when it comes to our business and when you put an offer on the table you have to back it up with action or we will go find someone who will.

Ready for some fun? Recruitment meetings are a part of the business. Every time we enter a room we are sharing an opportunity that will change someone’s life.

The fun starts as the doors open, you can feel the excitement in the air as the leaders enter the room. The music tonight is the sounds of happy people talking about what is going to take place. You look around the room you see your team members, newly qualified prospects, friends and even family. Tonight is about catching up with the people on your team, brain storming your next move, announcing a new product launch and handing out the awards. All is good and ready to begin…

The people you bring to these events have gone through your screening process and are open to the opportunity or at the very least curious to see if they are ready to make that commit. Now is the time that they can see you at your best and having fun. Show off your team to your prospects so they will know who they can always count on to share their experience and knowledge and they will appreciate the acknowledgement.

They love to show off their skills to. Fellowship is what brings us together we are a group of ordinary people who live fantastic lives. Your people need to feel like they are welcome even if they don’t sign on the bottom line. They have the character that you admire in a person that is why you invited them.

Leave them with an example that will stick with them. Have fun and to tell you the truth I don’t care if you take advantage of the opportunity or not, I just got to spend some time with people I enjoy. Not everyone is ready for an opportunity. I have brought you here it’s up to you to want it. Networking is nothing more than getting together with others, doing a little work and having fun while you’re doing it.

Every person in the room is there to support each other effort and take advantage of the opportunity to show off what they did and how they did it and to see if you want to do it to. When you bring your people to the meeting they can get answer on the spot from your team members that have been around this business longer than you.

They are more than willing to share their stories, so introduce the people you brought to you team, make them feel at home. After the meeting take your people for coffee or a drink. Talk about the meeting and find out what they thought.

Tell them why you are so excited about the changes in your life and how much time and fun you have. Everything you talk about is possible because of the decision you made to become an entrepreneur. We are the living example of what could be possible when you decide you what to work for yourself.

 

What It Takes To Be A Sponsor

A successful sponsor uses a conversation to qualify their lead seeing if they have what it takes to join them in a business. It takes time to build a team. You will interview hundreds of people to get a few that you like and want to spend time with. Start conversations with everyone you meet to see how they measure up to the standards that you want.

When I started out I did not get the information that I am share with you. Do an outline of the team members that you want and what they need to qualify. Knowing what you want in your team will make it easier for you to write down the questions you need to ask. Qualities that you admire in other people is a great stating point for your list of leads. Set a number for them to reach to qualify for your time. You will need to practice, so start right away there’s many people to talk to. We all make mistakes in the beginning and that just part of the learning process. When you get this down it will save you many hours and make qualifying your prospect easy. Set a time a side everyday to talk to leads on the phone.

Here are some of the qualities that I look for in my prospects.

  • Honest people who do what they say when they say they will do it. I building a business relationship by being honest and expect the same from my business relationships.
  • Outgoing and energetic people (You only get one chance to make a first impression so my leads had better make a good one.)
  • Successful, business minded people are patient and focus on their goals, are open to opportunities and willing to work for what they want.
  • Personalities that are easy-going and don’t sweat the small stuff, they are patient, kind and can easily start or join into a conversation.
  • Straight-forward people can easily get to the point and they pay attention to details.
  • People, who commit themselves in the opportunity, have clear goals to get what they want and follow through until they succeed.
  • People who actively are looking for a home business opportunity and treat a home business as a business not a hobby.

That brings us to the qualities that no one wants to work with because of being a downer. These people only see the negative in life and are no fun. I Avoid these people they are depressing.

  • People that doubt every move you make and can be negative when dealing with you or anyone else.
  • Control freak, people who don’t understand the word no or have trouble letting anyone shine except for themselves.
  • Unemployable people who can’t hold down a job and don’t have good work habits. If they can’t work for someone they will never work for themselves.
  • People with a fearful personality are afraid to take a risk or have a fear of success, afraid of change.
  • A hostile person, no one wants to spend time around mean and nasty people who will not considered others and use fear to intimidate or control.

You want the best people to join your company, so look for the business builders that want to work with a strong team. When you start qualifying you are screening people looking for those who are willing to work for what they want and will follow through with the commit they make. Don’t waste your time on anyone who doesn’t qualify, they are not worth your time. Qualify quickly and move on to the next lead.You want to develop relationships with people with connections to a network of business people. Business relationship with these people will develop over time and is worth your time.

You can’t put desire into someone. This is not a get rich quick industry and if you sponsor the wrong person you will be wasting your time. This is an emotional drain on you and your business. These relationships make your business. Face to face is still the best way to qualify a person, as you move through your day pay attention to the sale clerk or the waitress working their way through school. They may have the qualities that you admire and the attitude you’re looking for. The bank teller is working with money, clearly has a job and is someone worth you building a relationship with. Your doctor or dentist maybe looking for a business opportunity to expand their earning portfolio.

So do you have what it takes to sponsor? I don’t know what you will do with the opportunity or what your work habits are. A sponsor is the one who hand picks the people who they want to do business with and they support a team with the same qualities that they admire in others. They build a strong team of people who believe that failure is not an option and will do what it takes to succeed. The standards that you set for your team is no different then you will have for yourself as a team builder.

How to Use Leverage in Your Marketing Business?

Creating a larger income will take leverage in my marketing business. Why wouldn’t you leverage a network of like minded-people to help each other to get a head? The beauty of network marketing is surrounding yourself with the people you like on your way to the top. They become good friends and mentors that share their tools,tips and tricks so you succeed in building a strong marketing business.

Open communication is the way people can see that you are truly interested in helping them get ahead, even if they just want to make a little extra money. They feel connected to you because your vision for the future is the same. You have no problem keeping the marketing team motivated you are all on the same page. Your skills are contagious the team is infected with the potential to grow strong and all of you will be success. Everyone is going to gain a wealth of knowledge and income. There’s your leverage.

People are the key to keeping each other motivated. Communicating and working towards the same goal is leverage you can’t buy. Your marketing team is working together towards the same goal and is unstoppable. People keep money flowing and the more people you recruit the more financial growth for your team. Everyone has their own dream of the abundant life they want and each person has their own style of doing things. Get to know their strengths and weakness and remember they are your business. Each one of us is at the top of our part of the business all working towards marketing success.

Time is the one leverage that is critical to building a marketing business. So remember that you’re not getting any more off it, your time is priceless so seize the moment. The time you need to do one sale is yours. If you make $10 on every sale you do, and do that 10 times a day that is $100 in your pocket. Now say that you have trained 5 people to do what you do and each one of them makes 10 sales a day and you give each person half of what they sold. You are giving them $5 a sale and they do 1 sales in one day that gives each of them $50 a day and you in turn receive $50 dollars from each person. Do the math you end up with $250 dollars for that day. You are still doing the same amount of work.

Okay here comes the leverage each one of those people your team trains 5 people and in turn they train 5 people who on their team. So on that level instead of you making $10 or $5 per sale you are only making $2 per sale. However you have 25 people on that level who each make 10 sales. Exciting isn’t it now the 5 you started with have 5 teams and the goal in to sell 10- $10 products.

Okay you’re out selling a diet product even better you only worked selling the 10 products, your team sold an extra 50 product and then their teams sold 250 products! Because all of you were working toward the same goal you sold 310 products. Even though you did not make as much per sale by having a team, you made far more than you would have made by yourself. You are just one person. That is the big problem with creating wealth without any help.

You are only given 24 hours in a day. Over half of those 24 hours you spend on activities like sleeping, eating, and doing chores and working towards creating your wealth. However when you have a team that are all working together you have created a leverage point on those hours. So you can just spend 10 hours per week working on creating wealth. You also have a team of 5 who each spend 10 hours a week creating wealth for themselves. Which means you and your team are spending 60 hours per week on creating wealth, and in the example before each of those 5 people have a team of 5. What if they spend 10 hours per week working as well? They work a total of 250 hours per week, plus your team and you work 310 hours per week. That is 310 hours of work put in per week. If you could work 24 hours per day 7 days per week, you by yourself could only work 168 hours in a week.

Your teams joined together are putting in almost double that. If you are only working 30 hours each week you and your team are spending over 300 hours per week building a bigger business. Everyone is working towards the singular goal of creating a successful business.

In fact, this is the way it works at any “regular” business in America. At your local grocery store there are dozens of people working various different shifts all working together to keep the store operating. One person could not run the store. One person could not work all the hours it takes to get everything done. They are leveraging the hours of all those people to create a profitable enterprise. This is an advantage of building a Network Marketing company, you may earn less on other levels, but you have more people working, and more people working means more sales being made, creating more income.

Now you know what the leverage is and how to use it to your advantage. This is the secret of the world of business that is no secret to those who will do what it takes to succeed in marketing. We want a strong marketing team make sure you communicate your goals clearly from the beginning. Your team can grow as large as you want with many teams in place with the same goal in front of them. You’re loyal to the team and the company that supports your goal to become a success.
