Conversation Adds Opportunity

Conversation is an opportunity for recruiting people and is just another step in the marketing process. Every time you talk about your products or your business there will be people listening to your conversation.

Everyone within your 5 foot circle can hear everything you say so make sure you speak clearly and show some excitement about what your doing. Your conversation will attract people so be ready. When questions come up and they will it is essential to listen to people your in a conversation with. Only respond if you can do it with confidence. You are targeting an audience with everyone in that 5 foot circle of your voice.

You’re at a party listen to the people around you, there is always someone talking about work so go start a conversation with them. Waiting for them to bring up what you do. because it is your invitation to sell yourself, your product or opportunity.

The conversation may go something like this…

Me – So glad I don’t have to get up early tomorrow, I can stay up and have a great time.

Mary – I don’t either, I’m not working right know. I was in real-estate and worked as an office assistant.

Me – I’m sorry is there anything I can do?

Mary – Not unless you have a job in your pocket. I’ve been looking for work and have yet to find a job or one that I feel is worth my time. I am good at what I do and I have years of experience.

Me – I’m sorry Mary, you’re out of work I it’s tough out there I’m sure things will turn around for you soon. I don’t worry about where I’m going to work any more, I’m happy about my future.

Mary – What do you do?

Me – I market on the inter-net and it’s great! I choose my own hours and everyday I learn something that I can use to improve my business. I love it!

Mary – Sounds too easy, what’s the catch?

Me – No catch, I just decide that I would rather work for myself and found away to do it. It really didn’t cost me that much to get started.

Mary – I heard that companies on the inter-net are there only to get your money. Money I don’t have, I think it’s a scam.

Me – Not everyone is trying to get your money, but it does cost money to run a business and my cost is low. Mary with your abilities you will fly through the training and would start making money right away.

Mary – What does it cost? Do I have to put up thousands? I just don’t think doing that is for me.

Me – That depends on how you approach it. Are you looking for a job or a business? This is a business opportunity.

Mary – That depends on how much it cost.

Me – You can start-up with a company like ( your company name) which is less than $500 and they supply you with a web site, training and all the tools you will need to succeed. I handle only the products that I use myself and the on line company I’m with.

Mary – I don’t have an extra $50 dollars lying around let alone $500.

Me – I know that you work hard for your money and so do I. An inter-net business is the way I make my money. I can assure you that you will get out of it what you put into it. There is training with every job the difference I am doing this for me and my business.

Mary – I don’t know if it for me?

Me – Mary, I don’t want you to do anything that you’re not comfortable with. Let me give you my card and you can check things out for yourself. The web site with information on it can help you make up your mind is on the card.

Mary – Okay I will check it out.

Me – Mary I know how hard things can be. How about if I give you a call in a few days to see how you’re doing?

Mary – Okay I’d like that, call in the afternoon I will be job hunting during the day, here is my number.

Me – So how about this party is it off the hook or what?

Mary – Let’s party.

You will be over heard by other people at the party and they will want your business card, so bring plenty. Make sure you get there information, because a few days later. You are just simply call them to see how they are doing, if they checked out the opportunity and if you can answer any question.

Not every conversation will lead to a person being interested but when the do you’ll be ready to help them sign up. I stay in touch with them, because a call once in a while does wonders and you are letting them know that they are important.

You are a messenger of opportunity and one that you believe in. Opportunity is only a benefit if you hear about it. So start a conversation where ever you go and get the message out there.

Mary is approachable because she is an example of what we all go through at some time in our lives. We are never in control if we depend on someone else to give us an income. By taking control of your financially income you take control of your life. In fact you are offering someone the same opportunity that was offered to you. That is the reason you are here. Focus on the opportunity in your conversation so you can help them be successful.

They may decide it is not for them and that’s okay. There are thousands of people who are just waiting to hear about this opportunity. The Focus Of Your Business

A list of priorities that focus on building and maintaining our businesses is key. The list contains ways we build our brand and customers. We want a few things in place so people are happy and comfortable with us and our business.

You are your brand if your business focus is on you. How you handle yourself with social media and when your out in public is key to your success. Be an open book, focus your energy on getting to know people and let the, know that you know your business inside and out.

When you are the expert it reflects on your confidence. As the owner of a business every decision made is a reflection of your business. Be as transparent as you can be, most people will focus on what type of person you are by how you handle yourself.

Taylor your skills on social media so that you can reach out and attract people. The rule of business is easy get you product in front of people. Supply a service or product they need. I find that getting to know people is easy if you are listening to them. I mean really focus on what they are telling you.

You can tell in just a few conversations if this is someone who is going to help your business. The focus is not on you, it is on your customer. Don’t think for one moment that just because they aren’t buy your product they can’t help you in some other way.

Each person you meet can lead you to someone that can help you in one way or another. Be honest and treat them with respect is always a good idea. People will know if you are genuine or not. Keep your focus on your part the rest will fall into place.

The greatest ads in the world are based on emotions. Fear, love and everything in between, from cards to beer. The advertising business is all about tapping into your emotional memory.

These ads enter your world without you realize it. They tap the feelings that you may or may not know. There are subtle ads that are worn on labels, such as clothing, shoes, handbags and food. These might be the smartest of all because they make you feel as if you’re a part of the popular crowd.

We know that we want the best that life has offers to offer. Those that can afford the best enjoy showing off. There is nothing wrong with that. Just as there is nothing wrong with not caring about anything except the fit.

I personally don’t care to pay someone to wear their name. I am more about the fit. Although as a marketer I do have to a line my thinking to reflect the brand I am marketing.

What that means is I am going to hit you with whatever it takes to get you to buy into the product at hand. It may be to helping a company get its brand started. I am going to recruit you buy the promise of being part of a special group of people who what you to succeed because we can all make this company together. Growing up from the ground floor means being on the top of the earning machine.

To get in make as much as you can fast, I can promise you a chance to win a new car or a trip to the Caribbean as an incentive to recruit other to share this business model. Great pay just for sharing and showing others how to do the same.

Sounds like the greatest opportunity, you buy a certain amount of the product to share and the company gives you a web site, access marketing training and the advertising material. With a meeting once a month and all you have to do is share.

This is a great business model. It does work if you are prepared to put your time and effort in, because there are no free rides. You are starting a business by help others get there brand out to the public. There are business opening up every day that rely on this type of business. Once the business takes off be prepared to move onto the next company.

This business model plays on the urgency of not being left behind when it comes to making large amounts of money and it is there to be made. They have the support you need to succeed.

You’re looking helping them but all so helping yourself by getting what you need to achieve your business goals. A win, win is what you hear as you rise up the latter to success.

The thing is that most people fall prey to believing that they can do it. These people help build up these companies but never make the money they thought they would make. Most of the time it is because they don’t have the mind set you need to make money and move on.

You see they join thinking this is their ticket to working with people they like and selling a product and company with will be loyal to them for years to come. There is only 20 percent of the people recruited will become that marketing professional that lives a six figure life.

I would love for you to be a success in your marketing your product. It is easy once you get yourself motivated to look at all sides of your business and decide what your goals are. Today there is more people fighting to sell their products on the inter-net.

When you figure out your goals moving forward is just that. Taking action is doing the same thing day in and day out. That’s why it is important that you like what you do.

I really love drawing and painting. I want to share what I do. Does anyone need what I produce? I doubt it. Does it fill a need? Yes it does, for years people have been drawn to art because they want to capture the beauty around us. They like to surround themselves with pictures of the animals, people, place and things the love, because it brings them joy.

So I guess I do have a marketable product and skill. The best way I can market it is to let people see past the pictures and get to know me. I am the story behind the pictures.

When you open yourself up to the public it is scary at first. Everyone I know is hesitant at first. Most of us like our privacy and that’s okay.

You are the one who share what you want with the public. Most of us don’t have anything to worry about were not running for office.

Networking is just getting to know the people who may or may not want what your product. If they don’t they may know someone who might. That is why it is so important for us to learn the skills we need to get out there.

If you want control over the marketing of your product on the inter-net you need to know how the marketing works. Than you have to be willing to invest time and if you’re willing to invest time doing the same thing over and over you will succeed.

Learn about SEO, auto-responders even if you’re not doing them yourself. See how social-media works and pick the one that works best for you. It is a process and it takes time to learn.

Get yourself known on the inter-net in the circles that will support you and guide you. Share the mile stone in your business with the public. Your hobbies and interests do matter to the people who turn on the computer. We all want to be accepted and recognized for who we are and what we represent.

They are still hoping that someone will come in and do it for them. Building a business is work. When you feel discouraged, you are not feeling the rewards for your efforts. What are you thinking, you can’t complain and have a positive out look at the same time. Whining is a negative act fuel by emotions. If your personal business development is lacking momentum you are the only one who can change it.

Adding a new training task to your list that will benefit you and make it easier. You can start building up your tool box with positive acts. Volunteer or go out and do an act of random kindness if you want to feel good about something. Only you can move forward, I can’t push you or hold your hand to success. You are the secret to the success of your business or your career. Fitting in to the role as a success person developes as you act on the training and the informed decisions you make. Exercising positive thinking because if you are only putting your toe in to test the water, you may never get in. What I learn today I can use to help someone do what I do. It is part of my business model.

Be too busy to dwell on negativity. Everyone is different so their challenges are different, Waiting for your light bulb moment will keep you in limbo. Everyone that sticks to the training long enough is going to see results. When your moment happens you will be ready because you invested on it. People, you have to carry out the training or it will not work. Entrepreneurs do not get paid for time. They get paid for results. Entrepreneurs really are too busy to worry about your negativity, they focus on whats important.

Watching a business develop around you is a gift. You will see it if you stay positive through the experience, you are the secret to your success so don’t give up. When my business changed, it was when I realised that I am the business. I have to take this to the next level and treat this like a business not a hobby. I am responsible for the decision I made. Most entrepreneurs can tell you when things stared turning around for them. Now when an opportunity comes they are ready. The reason they can do this is because they are positive thinkers that are successful because the took advantage of the opportunity in front of them. They look at it with an open mind and then zoom in on the facts taking emotion out of the decision-making.

Training your mind to take action is the way an entrepreneur’s mind works. You can teach your mind to leave emotion out of your decision-making. You start by training it to take action on facts, so it doesn’t react to emotion. You want it, doesn’t mean you need it. Take some time, up to a day if you need it to make decisions. Give your brain time to wrap around it. Listen to your gut as the facts unfold and you will make the right decision. A business mind will zoom in and out putting their focus on what is the best decision for the business and the people the business supports. Leave the emotions at the door and look at all the ways you can make a positive impact versus a negative one. Celebrate small milestones as much as the big ones, because they keep your momentum growing. Be positive take one day at a time and keep the future where you can see it.

Do You Need A Work at Home Makeover?

Work at home is not as easy as you would think. When you get up do you reach for a cup of coffee before your eyes are even open? How you start your day will decide how productive you are. I wake up every day with my Grace alarm. That’s my Dalmatian she barks at the same time every day. She wants to go out. Before I get up to take care of her I take a minute to get centered. I have a routine that will get me ready for my work day.

I know everyone has a morning routine and if it works for you don’t mess with it. Here are just a few things that are a must for me. Stretching is one way to get the blood moving to wake up your brain and I do it through out my day. Showering I want to wash of the night and the day before so you can feel fresh to start each day. Getting dressed, I put myself in a different mind-set then if I crawled out of bed and went straight to the computer. It set the stag for my work day. Whether you shower the night before or the next morning it’s your business you need to get dressed. A well put together person shows that they are ready for the work day. I’m not talking about a three-piece suit. Just get out of your bath robe into comfortable clothing.

Drink your coffee or tea while you are going over your list and I eat breakfast to fuel my body. I want my brain to keep it functioning at its best. Doing some form of exercise is good for your mind and your body, if you work out that’s great. I take my dogs for walk every day. I feel better and so will you when you prepare yourself for your day.

Schedule yourself in the time you have is something you need to do if you work from home. Setting a time and a limit on everything I do so I don’t get distracted especially on the computer. Face book and twitter will lead me astray and I don’t want spend my day in social media. I have to schedule a time when I won’t be interrupted to make and return phone calls. Your schedule changes daily when you work from home especially if you have children. You need to plan so that you get as much done in the time you set a side for your business. I even put a time in to eat lunch and take breaks. Our brain needs fuel, water and rest that is why it is important. This is why I schedule them into my day.

I don’t suggest you change a thing if what you’re doing is working, you don’t want to mess it up. I found that if I don’t put something off that is on my list it build my momentum and it is easier to for me to get things done. Don’t ignore how important it is to stay focus. Distraction can defeat the best laid out plan.

As a mother I will not compromise the time I spend with the family. I take one morning and prep foods that I will need to make healthy meals for the week. I do laundry while I work and add one hour of house work to my workout schedule. It is a challenge to keep from feeling over whelmed some days, but without a plan I would just flounder through out my day not getting anything done.The key to working from home is to set a routine that works for you. Make a plan and be ready to follow through with your commitments. You will find that as you set it up that some things work better than others. You can change it, you’re the boss.

Taking care of you is the very first thing to schedule. We are willing to makeover our appearance to feel better about our self. How you work from home does matter. Leadership Starts With You

Leaderships start with knowing wanting something is not the same as needing it as. Needs are food water and shelter. Wanting is an emotional reaction to pleasure. So what does this have to do with our identity?

Every person has needs and wants. Parents step into the roll of leadership they give their children what they need and what they want to support them. We are exposed early to outside influences that affect the way we think. It is the media and judgment from our peers that cause us pain or pleasure. This may trigger confusion on the difference between what our needs and wants really are.

Seeing, hearing, smelling and touching are the tool we inherited to survive. Listening with your senses started at birth, how we react to what we need as babies is natural. As we grow and understand how to get what we want, our parents place boundaries on us and introduced us to discipline. A child learns early that they are at the mercy of their family and will learn how to respond to get what they need. If you’re told repeatedly that you need and deserve something even when you don’t, you won’t understand the difference between a need and a want. Disciplined is setting the boundaries.

Discipline is training a state of improved behavior, improvement of physical power and self-control. Our brain is the key to getting what we need and want. If you are a victim to your emotions then you need to discipline your brain to act instead of reacting to the emotional triggers around you. You have to practice everything so that your brain knows what it has to do on its own. Just knowing you have to do something, is not enough.

Example: I am over weight because I have bad eating habits, there for I have to practice good eating habits to change the bad habits. I have a bad temper. No you have a bad habit triggered from an emotional behavior. You will only have self-control when you practice it. He is the best player on the team because he practiced until he could act with complete control over the game he plays.

Your brain will tell your body what to do when you practice it. If you don’t replace bad habits with good habits they will control your life. A computer is like a brain, unfortunately our brain doesn’t have the software to improve its performance. You are not what anyone tells you, you are what you tell yourself. All you have to do is listen to what you are telling your brain to do. If you tell yourself you don’t know how to something, you won’t. Your brain will not know what to do until you educate it to do so. Discipline yourself by practicing what you have to do and then act on your training.

Just because you put the uniform on doesn’t mean that your brain will tell your body how to play the game. You have to do your home work! You have to practice, know the game inside and out, then and only then you are ready to play in the game.

People fall victim to the world around them. You want to stand out in the crowd you have to practice discipline. In order to practice you need to find the training. You are not a player until you get in the game.

It is your life and your choices that define who you are, be accountable to yourself. Practice it, so you can stand out as a person of excellence. If you want what I have and are not willing to work for it, you can’t have it. Don’t throw a fit to get where you want to be. I had to change the way what I was doing to get what I need to live the way I want. I study it and practice it until I gained the skills to act without emotion when making decisions. , standout and be the example. People will follow your lead.

Who Are You Selling?

You have partnered with a company that is selling products and you are ready to move forward. The doubts set in and you ask yourself is this the products and is this the company that going to change my life? If you think it is just about these things you may not see what you have in front of you.

The opportunity is more than an opportunity to start business it is a way to welcome change into your life. This is your business and yes the product is important, but you are what matters. Be clear that in a marketing business you have to invest money to make money. This business model is no different, it works and it has proven it’s self over the years. You are just doing is on the inter-net. This like any business is not for those who want to get rich quick. It takes time, money and patience to build a business.

The income is defiantly there for the taking for the people willing to work for it. Business owners know the reason they started their business. Do you know your reason? Confidence is intoxicating to everyone around you and the attraction is undeniable. You are the authority on your business and what it took you to get there.

Self- confidence is a gift that you earn by small accomplishments that build ability. Responsibility is to take care of the opportunity that is in front of you. You are developing the mind-set of a confident person and you don’t have time for lazy behavior in your life. You have to have done the work, if you don’t do what you have to get done on your list, it becomes a blow to your self-esteem and your business.

Start your day with an affirmation, prayer or conversation with yourself. Get ready to carry out your list. As you go through the day, cross off each task as you do this your self-confidence has a small victory dance. At the end of each day you make a new list. There is power in writing it down, reading before you go to bed and crossing off each thing on your list as you finish it the next day. When you surrender to the process you will find it is not as hard as you think. I say surrender, because some people will fight with the Idea that this will work at all, no change comes over night. This is a journey.

Entrepreneurs do what it takes even when they may feel uncomfortable at first because they know that you can say that it works, but try it out for themselves, they are confident in the process. With your self-confidence growing and your esteem level rising you will find that other do take notice around you. Small changes will all so bring changes in the way you inter-act with others.

Attraction is built on respect, without respect you will not have self-esteem and without self-esteem you are not attractive to yourself. You have to feel a sense of accomplishment to gain self-esteem. Attracting people to you because you go after what you want and are willing to put the work in that it takes to succeed at your business.

Confidence is the reward. Please do not mistake confidence with arrogance. Arrogance is not attractive even though it is very powerful. An arrogant person is attractive to more arrogant people. They have little time for anyone but themselves. Conceited people keep the focus on themselves leaving very little room for anyone else. What does attraction has to do with it? Everything, as an entrepreneur you will attract the people who are looking for the way to build their business. They find value in you as a person because you are doing what you say you are going to do.Now is the time to step in to the role as the teacher, not the student. Sharing our knowledge is natural when you have done your homework and are a living example for them to follow.

Now, arm yourself with the tools to mold yourself into the person that you admire. Walk the path celebrating the small victories and get ready for the great celebration at the end.
